We Help Select The Perfect Plants For Your Yard

Plants don’t just look “beautiful.” LandArc Landscaping & Design uses plants strategically to provide many services including privacy, food, medicine, habitat, shade, color, texture, architectural form, and more. Many of our client are requesting landscapes that are low maintenance and drought tolerant.  Native plants are a perfect solution to minimize water use and reduce the need for maintenance. Over time, these plants have adapted to the local climate and soils, thereby requiring less maintenance and conserving on water use.

The local wildlife (butterflies, bees, birds, etc.) are more adapted to native plants as a food source and habitat.  For these reasons, LandArc Landscaping & Design primarily uses natives in most of our landscape installations. However, non-native plants do have a place in the landscape and are often integrated into the landscape design where appropriate.

Plants bring life into the landscape.  They stimulate all of our senses. Listen to the sound of leaves blowing in the winds… See the visual vibrancy of colorful flowers… Feel the soft cushion of moss between the toes… Smell the freshly oxygenated air in a forest of trees… and Taste the juice of a ripe fruit picked fresh off the vine.
